Technician ATR-FTIR Micro Spectroscopy for Imaging
She earned her graduation cum laude in “Chimica e Tecnologia Farmaceutiche” at Pisa University in 2004. In 2009 she received the PhD degree in “Scienza del Farmaco e delle sostanze Bioattive”. From 2009 to 2015 was post-doc at University of Pisa working on the synthesis and the biological evaluation (both in vitro and in vivo) of pharmacologically active compounds. Since September 2015 she is Laboratory Technician at Department of Pharmacy and her research interest is devoted to the biological evaluation of compounds as enzymatic inhibitors. But her research is mainly addressed to the chemical characterization of different materials through the use of a sophisticated microscope coupled to a Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR). She is author of 46 publications on international peer-reviewed journals, she held different oral and poster communications at national and international conferences and she is also co-author of 4 patents.
